Welcome! I am a veterinary surgeon and clinical researcher with 15+ years of experience spanning advanced small animal internal medicine, feline health, and data-driven metabolic science.
My work bridges the gap between high-level academic research (focusing on exercise physiology, metabolomics, and life history theory) and compassionate clinical practice.
In addition to my independent research and locum consulting, I am the founder of OceanPaws Mobile Vet, delivering gentle, stress-free primary care directly to pets in their own homes across Dorset and Hampshire. Alongside OceanPaws, my husband, Richard, and I also provide dedicated, veterinary-supervised house sitting and bespoke pet care services directly within clients' homes, ensuring complete peace of mind, elite medical oversight, and tailored comfort for complex, senior, or geriatric companions.

I founded OceanPaws Mobile Vet to offer a calmer, stress-free alternative to traditional clinic visits across Dorset and Hampshire (including Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, and surrounding areas).
By bringing contextualised veterinary care directly into your home, your pets stay relaxed on their favourite spot on the sofa, eliminating the stress of car rides or busy waiting rooms and allowing for far more accurate health assessments.
What We Provide
Unhurried Consultations: 30–60 minute visits with the same vet every time for true continuity of care.
Routine & Preventative Care: Health checks, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, and official pet travel certification (AHCs).
Senior, Mobility & Chronic Support: Gentle joint/mobility evaluations and long-term condition management without slippery clinic floors.
Compassionate Palliative & End-of-Life Care: Peaceful, dignified in-home euthanasia and gentle support in the comfort of home.
Flexible Collaboration: Keep OceanPaws for routine home care while staying registered with your local clinic for surgeries, hospitalisation, and advanced diagnostics.
